Detoxify & Align: A Detox Yoga Workshop

Join Tasha for a 75-minute all-levels dynamic detox flow. You’ll be guided through a sequence of postures specifically designed to detoxify the body, mind and promote vitality.  You’ll target areas of stagnation, encouraging the release of toxins and tension stored within muscles and organs by stretching and twisting.

As we flow through each posture, we will focus on breath awareness, using it as a powerful tool to purify the body from within.

This Detox and Align class is an opportunity to cleanse your body, mind and spirit.   Through the practice of mindfulness and present movement awareness we’ll invite a sense of clarity and renewal, shedding old patterns and welcoming in new possibilities.

Join us as you tap into your strength and body’s innate ability to heal and thrive.  Together we’ll revitalize our bodies and minds. You’ll leave this class feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to embrace summer!

Yin Yoga for Back Pain

Got back pain? This is the class for you! Join Jeni for a Yin yoga pop up class designed to help relieve back pain. In contrast to more dynamic styles of yoga, Yin yoga’s focus on holding passive poses for extended periods allows for deep release and relaxation of the muscles and connective tissues. In this 75 minute practice targeting back pain, the deep stretches and long holds gradually release tension and stiffness, creating space for healing.

Donation Hot Power Flow benefiting The Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Colorectal Cancer Center

Join Stephanie for a donation hot power flow benefiting the Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Colorectal Cancer Center. Harry P. Mirabile Sr., was committed to his family. Committed to his Norristown community. Committed to personal philanthropy and to the vigorous support of a wide range of charitable causes. Stephanie's Grandfather was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 1991. He had 86 rounds of radiation before his first lung surgery in 1996. He had five major lung operations. Throughout his 22 year long and courageous struggle with colorectal cancer, he maintained his grace, continued to help people and never let his cancer define him. Giving back was a basic tenant of Harry Mirabiles remarkable life.

Stephanie's grandmother was by her grandfather's side during his fight. In response to the extraordinary care his family gave him, he also received a great amount of care and attention from Drs. Gerald and John Marks. Harry was committed to The Marks Colorectal Surgical Foundation and their quest to improve the lives of colorectal cancer patients.

Stephanie's family was approached to honor my grandfather's legacy, by establishing The Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Colorectal Cancer Center at Lankenau Medical Center in June 2011. Fighting colorectal cancer is a multi-dimensional effort. The disease is the most frequent internal malignancy affecting men and women in Eastern Pennsylvania. The Harry P. Mirabile, Sr. Colorectal Cancer Center is a “virtual center without walls.” Bringing a multi-disciplinary force of researchers, clinicians, surgeons and after care specialists together to share their knowledge will enable significant progress in the battle with this disease. This center's mission is to provide a framework for basic scientists and clinicians to exchange ideas for solving the most demanding problems in the struggle to prevent, treat and subdue colorectal cancer through clinical research.

Through Stephanie's Grandfather’s Foundation, we hope to raise money to continue research and, one day, find a cure.

Stephanie and her family will be having a golf tournament on September 23 at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club as another fundraiser. Please contact us if you’d like more information!

Love, Abundance & Transformation - A Full Moon Sound Bath

Love, Abundance & Transformation - A Full Moon Sound Bath

Join Alyssa for a 75-minute sound bath experience on the evening of the first full moon of the summer - known as the Strawberry Moon. In astrology, a full moon is often associated with a peak of energy. In some spiritual traditions, the strawberry moon is seen as a symbol of love, purity, and prosperity. It is a time to savor life's sweetness and connect with the love and abundance surrounding us. Whether you see it as a time of celebration, reflection, or transformation, the strawberry moon is a powerful reminder that we are all part of something greater than ourselves.

Using pure white frosted quartz crystal singing bowls to create different combinations of sound, frequencies, and vibrations, Alyssa will take you on a sonic journey that will allow participants to fall into a deeply relaxed state. These frequencies help put the body into a state of ease while gently relaxing the brain into what is known as a “theta state.” In this state, the brain is producing theta waves, which are slower in frequency than the beta waves that are produced when we are awake and alert. These moments can be ideal for experiencing a sense of peace and are a powerful tool for personal growth and transformation.

Working with the foundations of music, creating harmonic and dissonant intervals, vibrations, and melodies, this sound bath will allow participants to drop into a meditative state and away from their fight-or-flight response. Together, we'll release stagnant energy and open our minds and hearts to the love and abundance that surround us.

The room will be heated to 75 degrees for this workshop.

What to bring:

  • Blanket

  • Water bottle

  • Wear comfy clothes

  • Eye Pillow/mask (optional)

Rest & Digest - A Healing Sound Bath Experience

Rest & Digest - A Healing Sound Bath Experience

While summertime activities & travel are fun, exciting and joyful - it can throw our sleep patterns and digestive tracts out of whack. If you’ve been feeling a little off balance, join Alyssa for a 60 minute healing sound bath experience, with a focus on improving your quality of sleep & finding digestive balance.

John Beaulieu, the author of “Human Tuning” discovered that tuning forks could be used to tune the human nervous system in 1974. He observed that the sound of our nervous systems were directly related to different physical, mental, and emotional states. He learned that our nervous systems could be manipulated through sound, and developed different interval protocols to help ease particular human discomforts.

Using these interval protocol methods, Alyssa will play the pure white frosted quartz crystal singing bowls, 20” dark star gong, and rain stick to gently move our nervous systems from a state of stress and activation to a state of rest and ease. Participants will be lulled into a meditative state through these soothing sounds, vibrations, and musical intervals. During this session, your body will have a chance to rest & relax, which will allow for greater balance & ease in your life.

The room will be heated to 75 degrees for this workshop.
